June Shea is a fabulous Interior Designer. We hired her to do an office space from a blank slate for my Husband’s new office & we also used her personally for our home. What makes June unique is that she is creative, professional and has design skills to help you with every step of the process (she even works as a liaison between the client and the builder if you need one). She listens and creates a game-plan that is easy to execute. Our office space is exactly what we were looking for: open spaces with private areas for each employee, a bright/happy area to come into and a well thought out environment. For our home: We were impressed with her instant ideas to create the space we wanted with color suggestions, furniture ideas, drawings, measurements and many other creative ideas. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcomes and we would recommend her in a heartbeat!

I would highly recommend June to anyone in need of bringing a little more life into their home. Our favorite thing about June is that she is very genuine, making it easy to trust her quickly. My husband and I are not HGTV people. We knew very little about interior design. Not only did June give us an exceptional design plan, but she did it in very little time and within our budget. We had a lot to do to improve our house so we had to be very particular in where we spent our money. June understood that and was happy to work with us without making us feel awkward or inadequate. If we had emergencies during the construction process, she was always the first to respond. My favorite part, actually, was after the construction. June asked if she could come take some "after pictures" for her own records. She came by on a Tuesday morning, spent three hours sprucing up the place, primarily using our own stuff, and it looked fabulous. She then offered to sell us anything she brought herself. It made a huge difference and only cost us what we chose to buy from her. There is no question this woman knows what she is doing. There is not a doubt in our mind we would use her again!

We came to her in early November knowing that we needed to furnish our living room properly in advance of our entire family descending from out of town for Christmas. I was kind of awkward at first, knowing that we might have different taste. However, June listened and adjusted to what I liked. In a short time, we selected a delightful suite of living room furniture. June made sure the furniture arrived on time and arrived on the delivery day to put everything gorgeously in place while I worked on my business, including tactfully putting aside some junk and even offering to hang our art. That gave me huge relief, because it was the day before my guests were to arrive, and I had no time to deal with it. I was also impressed that June did many things off the clock and didn't charge us extra when she realized it would suit our taste and lack of time best to order our art gallery wrapped. June also found a way to repurpose four lamps that we had so that they went with the decor where they were situated. I have already hired Shea Studio Interiors for an additional project to spruce up my bedroom and office. Additionally, June's suggestion to move my office from upstairs to downstairs has tremendously benefitted my business operations, will save me on taxes, and will provide me a better sense of peace in the upstairs, "home" part of my home/office. My family was very comfortable using the furniture we selected (except for the jealousy, perhaps), and my sister-in-law said it looked like something out of a magazine! In short, Shea Studio made our house more homey and beautiful and our office more businesslike and functional. Highly recommend.

June Shea was kind enough to meet us on the spur of the moment at a house we were considering buying that would need some rooms remodeled and sprucing up of other rooms. After our decision to purchase, June recommended and arranged for a contractor to be available just as our purchase was finalized. June was invaluable in designing the remodel of the master bathroom from a one sink, small shower and toilet area to a new, very large master bathroom housing a walk-in shower, 2 separate sinks/cabinet areas, bath tub, cabinets galore and separate toilet area. The new space was made available by incorporating the original bathroom with an adjoining hallway and walk-in closet. June drew several plans from which we picked one and then she tweaked it a bit to include specifics important to us. The selection of all materials was made with care and attention to detail. June is direct in her comments and will tell you her opinion of why she thinks something will work good or not. June also recommended a cabinet person/company, We have been happy with all her recommendations. June helped us selected paint colors throughout the house, suggested some furniture and picture placement of things we already had and helped decide on all new furniture and fabric for the family room. The other major remodel was building the living room space into a study/library. With our input of the number of feet we wanted for library shelves to house our books, June designed the room, giving us great storage space and a built in computer desk that we had wanted included. She added a quartz desk top that blends beautifully with the bookshelves and cabinetry. As in any job, things happen like a new blind not working, or a valance being made the wrong size by a company, but June takes care of these things and makes everything right. June enjoys her design business!

She was very flexible with how we needed to work; we did not have much time or inclination to be intimately involved in the selection of every piece, pattern, etc., so she worked within our schedule, quickly picked up on our preferences, and independently made the final selections for our house, which worked out nicely. June has great instincts and is very efficient and organized, which we appreciated. She seems to work with reliable contractors and she has satisfactorily addressed the couple minor changes we wanted to make to the design. I would highly recommend June and her team.

I have now worked with June @ Shea studios for two projects -- one huge and one small. She has TREMENDOUS taste. She listens attentively to "get" your style, and makes proposals that match that style -- if she doesn't hit it exactly, she tweaks it through revisions until you are in love with her design. She provides clear pictures of her vision and really lays out how it will work. She did plenty of hand-holding for the design of our bathroom, encouraging me to try things that I wouldn't never have thought of by myself. She is flexible, yet has opinions and doesn't shy from telling you what will look better and why. Moreover, she was consistently generous with her time, and professional about communication. The first project was big -- a bathroom remodel that included restructuring a closet and moving sinks/toilet/shower/tub, new flooring/cabinets/windows/doors dressings etc., combined with repainting and refurnishing of our master bedroom. It came out so beautifully - I feel like I'm in a spa every time I take a shower! We were so happy with the outcome that we also asked her to help us with repainting/recarpeting and furnishing a small bedroom that had special needs. As before, she had good ideas that I wouldn't have thought of. She miraculously found a style that matches my own personal tastes, and also matches the needs of my college boys who are sharing the new room. In all her work, June is extremely attentive to detail. You will not end up with a door that's the wrong size. You *will* end up with the light fixture you might have otherwise forgotten. I can't recommend her enough. You will not be sorry you worked with her when you see the final product!

I highly recommend Shea Studio Interiors. We hired June Shea to redecorate our great room connected to our kitchen. June was wonderful to work with - her and her design team really listened to what our needs were. They spent the time to appreciate the importance of some of the existing pieces of furniture and art work that we had. You will think we are nuts, but the task we gave her was to figure out how to combine caribbean fishing boats with Native American and Western art, with pink plastic flamingos and a random money or two! They developed a design concept that was really amazing - totally fun, unique and colorful. It perfectly matched how we wanted to use this room! We were reluctant at first, but allowed June to choose specific furniture for us, including chairs. They are absolutely outstanding! All in all, it was a great experience that went at our pace. June pushed us to think differently which was awesome, but at the same time she respected who we were and what we reacted to. Will definitely hire her again!

The work of Shea Studio Interiors, Inc. is organized, creative, high quality, and professional. June provides the client with a worksheet to complete in advance of meeting in person. This gives the client time to collect his/her thoughts as well as make the meeting much more productive. She respects your time. She comes prepared to present designs based on your preferences and resources. She will select samples to artistically combine colors and materials that best meets the design for you. After the design is complete, samples are selected, and specifications are defined, she will go above and beyond to ensure contractor is meeting the defined requirements. June accepts feedback and she is very customer service oriented.

June did a fabulous job on our house. This was a very large project, remodeling an entire main level, including a kitchen redesign and 2 bathrooms, plus furniture for 2 levels. The final product is more than we could have imagined. Everything came together perfectly down to the last detail. June was a pleasure to work with, she listened to what we wanted, but also pushed us a little out of our comfort zone with spectacular results. I have worked with other decorators in the past, most who charged by the hour. June's design fee may seem high at first, but once you see the amount of time and effort she puts into a project, it is a very good value. She also worked well with the rest of our team -- the general contractor, kitchen designer, A/V installer, fireplace contractor, etc.
