June Shea
President
Over 30 Years Of Experience
At the helm of Shea Studio Interiors is June Shea, an award-winning Interior Designer who has made a name for herself in the Metro DC and Northern Virginia area. June’s work has been featured in numerous prestigious publications, including USA Today, the Washington Post, The Washington Times, Home and Design Magazine, and Northern Virginia Magazine. She has also been recognized as a 2023 Virginia Top Designer by Virginia Living Magazine and one of the Top Home Improvement Professionals in the area by Northern Virginia Magazine.
Bonnie Cowan
Interior Designer
Bonnie has had a passion for creating beautiful spaces since childhood and it became her profession soon after college. Born in Germany and raised in various places across the United States, the many changing houses and towns she lived in encouraged creativity in decorating a home and an appreciation for a variety of design styles. Her style can best be described as a mix of classic silhouettes with a bright mix of color, pattern, and unique accessories.
Bonnie is a graduate of Furman University with a bachelor’s degree in art and art history, and later took courses in Interior Design. She has worked in the art and design field for many years and joined Shea Studio Interiors in 2020. Bonnie lives with her family in Fairfax Station, Virginia.
Leah Downs
Office Manager
With over thirty years as a military spouse, Leah brings invaluable insights into crafting joyful and welcoming interiors that feel like home, no matter where life takes you. As the Office Manager at Shea Studio Interiors, Leah ensures seamless operations, meticulously managing office logistics and overseeing the ordering, tracking, and delivery of project furnishings to perfection. Her eye for detail shines as she delights in researching the perfect fabric that completes a project’s vision, but even more so when she hears clients gush about how happy they are with the results. Beyond her professional commitments, Leah enjoys volunteering with organizations that serve military families.
