We can assist you in all selections for your new build project or oversee the construction process of a renovation. As a full-service interior design firm, we work hand in hand with your construction team to ensure that the design is implemented correctly and in a timely manner. Our Design Process
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU WORK WITH US
At Shea Studio Interiors, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, personalized interior design services backed by over 30 years of experience. Our proven process ensures that every detail is meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:
01 DISCOVERY CALL
We discuss the scope of your project and your vision and dreams for the space.
02 Completion of client “homework”
You complete a short questionnaire providing details about your preferences and priorities for the project, which provides us with more information about the intended design and use of the space.
03 Onsite consultation
Our designers come to your home for a 1-2 hour consultation. During this meeting, we take pictures and measurements, discuss preliminary ideas for the space, and answer any questions you may have. We provide an estimate of our fees for the job and leave you with a contract for consideration.
04 Design phase
Once a contract is signed, we create a design plan based on our discussions. We provide you with a design plan that includes CAD drawings of the finished space that incorporates recommended renovations (if applicable), furnishings, and fixtures. After we present our plan, we make adjustments and reselections based on your input.
05 Implementation
If renovations are necessary, we secure at least two bids from trusted contractors, or you may engage a contractor of your choosing. If you choose one of our contractors, we will manage the renovation process. We order all furniture, fixtures, and accessories to be sent to our warehouse for inspection and delivery. As products begin to arrive, we arrange for delivery and placement in the space.
06 Project completion and photos
We tour the space with you to address any changes or questions. With your approval, we will engage a professional photographer to capture the project for our portfolio.
